Subscribing to the TAC Mailing Lists

Discussion list

TAC is very much a local list for the greater San Francisco Bay Area (northern California generally). We do not encourage out-of-area subscribers, since much of the mailing list content is related to northern California activities and locations.

Subscribing allows you to get announcements of upcoming observing opportunities AND to communicate by e-mail about visual astronomy with other TAC subscribers who love observing the heavens - both deep sky and shallow sky objects. TAC Mailing List Terms of Use

1. All comments posted to the list are the property of the author. You are responsible for your words. The TAC Webmaster and Listmaster do not exercise editorial control over posted messages.
2. By posting to the list, you grant the TAC Webmaster permission in perpetuity to publish your submissions, in excerpt or in total, on the observers.org web site. We have no obligation to maintain your content at all, or in any particular form or location.
3. The TAC Mailing list will accept Unsolicited Commercial Email (aka. "spam"), only under the terms of our Spam Offer. See our Spam Offer for details.
4. Subscribers may be unsubscribed at any time by the Listmaster, without the requirement to show cause, for any posting or pattern of postings deemed inappropriate by the TAC Listmaster or by individual TAC mailing list subscribers.
5. Subscribers to the TAC Mailing List are assumed to be representing themselves. Anyone found to have subscribed to the list misrepresenting themselves as someone else will be immediately unsubscribed.
6. Subscribing to, or posting to the TAC Mailing List constitutes acceptance of the above 5 Terms of Use.
