I've received a couple of email questions about the status of Fremont Peak. The park is open--no state park closures have been announced. However, the campground reservation system is closed; camping is now on a first-come-first-served basis. I expect this is a step that has been taken to make rapid closure easier. FPOA is still operating, and will have a regularly scheduled public program this weekend.
