Re: Calstar kids

I brought Evelyn (8) to last years GSSP and CalStar.  She was fine, despite that she is hyper-afraid of the dark.  She is afriad while at home, but no problem at the two star parties.  She even walked 150 yards to the tent and back by herself to get her jacket...at 11PM.  She wouldn't go to the bathroom in the house without turning on every light on the way...even in the daytime!
 
This year, I'm not going to Calstar.  I'm staying local under darker skies.
