Re: Mt Wilson and fire

Hello,

As I'm sure many people on this list follow the progress of the Station fire
toward the Mt Wilson observatory. As you probably have noticed, the towercam
site is heavily overloaded, and access is extremely difficult.

Trying to help a tiny bit, I've set up a small script to try to get the latest
image and post it in a temporary mirror site. Me and a couple of colleagues in
the office are now using this mirror site, instead of each of us individually to
try to access the towercam.

If you are OK with images being slightly delayed, you can try to view the webcam
here:

I don't give any promises about image delay and site performance.
