Amazingly, my wife and I viewed it just a few minutes after watching a
striking green flash over the ocean on the beach at Pajaro Dunes! A
smoking zig-zag trail lingered in the western sky until it became
dark. As the sky darkened, the long smoke trail seemed to take on an
electric blue hue with brighter knots.
