Astrospeak

You're probably ok when you hear/read about LISA (Laser Interferometer
Space Antenna) or ATLAST (Advanced Technology Large Aperture Space
Telescope), but gotta give credit to those who came up with WIMP (Weakly
interacting massive particle) or MACHO (MAssive Contact Halo Object).

Soon we'll be able to write complete sentences in astrospeak:

Hey Lisa, at last a macho wimp!
