For those heading to MB tonight

This is the right time of year to get a good look at Omega Centauri from
Montebello.

Between 10-11pm take a look due south towards the dip in the hills (the
Turley notch).

On Monday Omega Cen was a nekked eye object. We were fortunate to have very
good seeing all the way down to the southern horizon. In a scope it was
quite a site from our latitude-challenged location.

For less horizontal scope views you may get lucky if fog in the valley
diminishes the light domes. On Monday we got mag 5.7-5.9 NELM using the
triangle in Bootes.

Clear Skies,
George
