2009 Julian Starfest - Aug 20-23

This is at about 4000 feet and is about 35 or so miles North-East from
the San Diego lights. One would think there would be a fair light dome
to the South-West but the North and East could be quite nice.

Lassen is at 8000 feet and about 60% or so of the distance to this party
from my homestead (very rough guess).

It is always good to know where the big events are in any case just in
case it works out for vacation plans or visiting friends and so on.

It was nice of them to name it after our own Mr. Lecomte.
