Brian Skiff's description of the area is indeed a good read to glean not
only whats up with those stars, but also the "concept of scale".

Yes.. I would have preferred a bigger field to capture more of the "horse",
but with the current setup I'm limited to 70mm. (I could go down to the
17-40mm but I don't have a mounting solution (yet).)

Btw, as Greg noted, at GSSP I also did a "milky way south" that includes the
area from the lagoon to the eagle...

Additionally, here's a "widefield" of cygnus from GSSP, also at 70mm. The
attempt here was to capture Ngc7000 and the viel complex in one frame. Imo,
not as spectalar as the southern field -- those darn stars got in the way...
