I agree. If Jay went with a very portable design 20" scope, it would be
a big step up from Harvey. There would be more detail visible in the
objects he looks at. A different class of object? No, more detail, yes...
Reminds me of a time when I was looking at M65/M66 from my backyard. I
thought "this is not showing the detail I expected"... then realized I
was using my 8" f/6.8 Dob, and not my 10" f/5.7. The 10" showed stuff
the 8" would not. I know the dif between the same object in my 18" and
GregL's 22...
Get a bigger scope Jay! With your experience, you'll get a lot out of it.
