Albireo should show the yellow and blue-green companion relative to each
other as being different.

Color is judged by our eyes in a relative mode. Some people have
great absolute color judgment but most of us do not have that blessing.

Along the lines of color judgements, here is a demonstration that shows
just how much our eyes use comparison to judge color. It is really a
good demonstration of how our brain fills in for color depending on what
the adjacent color may be.
