Another great GSSP

Hello,

Just wanted to add my thanks to the folks who worked hard to put on
GSSP. It was a very smoothly run affair. I “proofed” my new tent
(thunder, lightning, rain, sideways rain and hail) and stayed dry.
What’s it going to be next year? Thanks to Susan and the tinfoil, I did
not get abducted. I had a great time hanging with all of you, especially
Jeff, Charlie, and Susan who let me share their living room and for
putting the party into star party. Also thanks to Paul, Debbie, Jimi,
Alvin and everyone else who shared their observing expertise, not to
mention their expensive glass. I always learn so much at these things.
Thanks to Marsha for filling a hole in my T6 set and congrats on the
Hershel 2500. Also great fun to re-connect with Heather and Elise. Even
the several Iwo Jima events with the wifi pole were fun, thanks Rich. I
also had fun meeting a bunch of new people, whose names I sadly don’t
remember, (it takes a few times) See you all next year.
