Astronomy magazine -- the world's largest magazine for astronomy
enthusiasts -- seeks an associate editor. The ideal candidate is a
detail-oriented journalist who knows astronomy, can multitask and
meets deadlines. An educational background in astronomy, as well as
active experience in and an enthusiasm for the subject, are a big
plus. Duties include editing, writing, reading manuscripts,
researching and producing material for the magazine, and contributing
to its web site (Astronomy.com). Candidates should have a bachelor's
degree in physics, mathematics or astronomy.
