TAC picture of the day 7-23-08

Jeff Weiss took a neat picture of NGC 4725 and got me all stirred up!! I had
to check my logs for that object and was glad to see that it made my
favorites list :-)

Fav, Ghostly halo, brighter portion shaped like a "tie-fighter" with hints
of spiral structure, stellar core and 4 super imposed stars.

13.1": very bright, impressive, very small bright core, elongated SW-NE,
large
halo. Structure is suspected with the WSW edge possibly brighter. N4712
lies
