Kudos, Richard. Great stuff. Images are, as always, awesome.

Subject: [TAC] Update on HoCr1
also known as HC1 (Howell-Crisp 1)
back in 2006 when I was doing a lot of my initial widefield tricolor
emission line images, I managed to find a few uncatalogued objects
one was a planetary nebula candidate that Mike Howell and I both found
in the IC443 area. This object turned out to be uncatalogued and has
since been observed visually and others have imaged it including some
group of people that Don Waid mentioned on Monday over on the AMASTRO
list.
Well today Dana Patchick sent me two confirming images taken in Halpha
by Dr George Jacoby using the WIYN 3.5 meter telescope
He was lucky enough to have sub-arcsecond seeing for his images
Here is his image added to the original discovery shots as well as a
confirming shot I took using my 18" and a DSS image etc
http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/hc1_planetary_page.htm
it is nice to see real big iron scopes being used to confirm these
backyard discoveries made using home built camera lens equipment exploiting
my narrowband technique
it is a very powerful tool to use color contrast to find these tiny
guys that otherwise hide so well
