Uh oh! You're using PICs and Windows and here I am hacking AVRs from
a Mac... but we can agree to get along as long as you admit that
refractors are the greatest. ;-)

Seriously though, those are some very cool bots. I'm most impressed
that you got muscle wire to work.

I've been enjoying teaching myself electronics this winter, and I just
finishing putting together my first project with a custom PCB, an 8x8
LED matrix using a novel multiplexing scheme that I haven't seen
described before:

I was hoping to find a crossover electronics/astronomy project
("synergy" -- it's not just a buzzword, it's an excuse for buying
tools and toys), but I haven't come up with anything practical yet.
Telescopes are so intimidatingly... mechanical. :-P I could build a
DSC box, but I don't have any great ideas for doing it better than
it's already been done.

Somehow I suspect that my "large numbers of blinking lights" projects
would not be welcome or useful under dark skies. :-/
