Hi John:

i took that shot with an FSQ-106N (the "old" Q). I have a hard time believing the new Q has better optics, but some folks whose opinion I respect think it is just a good.

The FSQ was mounted on my AP900 and autoguided with my STV's E-Finder. The Film was Kodak E-200 professional slide film. The shot is a single 2-hour long exposure. And yup, I'm talking about Barcroft at White Mountain--the one that is 12,400 feet up.

Thanks for your comments and for looking at the shot. In the last year I've not posted much on this list...hopefully that will change.

wow, thats gorgeous. any more specifics on how that was taken?
(FSQ-106ED or what? what sort of camera, film, etc? single 2 hour
exposure, or stack of ?? x ?? exposures?) I assume you mean Barcroft
Station in the White Mountains?
