I agree. I'm sure I'm not the only one on this list that's skied at
Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, 13,000 feet at the top. No big deal. And,
when we go to Lassen, how many of you *hike uphill* to over 10,000 feet
on Lassen Peak?

And other than observing, I think I'll be pretty well kicked back during
the day.... unless Marek is along running our butts up and down the cool
geologic features in the area....

I think this sounds like a fun trip. There's got to be a scouting
party, and September would probably be the best time. We can check out
some other sites during summer....
