We had wet weather here until 12:30 AM when it magically opened up to a
magical inky black sky. The clouds filled the central valley to block the
light dome and we had our mystical opening to the heavens surrounding the
ranch here. It's not uncommon to see this happen. That lake to the west of
us and the mountains to the east pull some very nice openings for us on
stormy weekends.
Of course we weren't out observing! Albert is here but we had attended a
concert last night and so we had nothing set up. Hopefully we'll have some
clear skies tonight. It's sorta cloudy here at 9:30 AM.
