It was my first Calstar and I had a fantastic time! Got to know some folks better and met a lot of others. I did not feel the event was over organized or under organized. The only comment I would have is if I had known to expect casual walk ins, I would have been a bit more diligent wth my equipment on all the nights.
That last night when Jane lost her eyepiece, I had about 5 people come by to see what I was doing. Most walked up in front of me but one lady came up behind me and was there for awhile before I noticed her. I was staring at my laptop, singing to myself and I looked over to see what P Squared were doing (Pete Santangeli and Paul Stergold!) and it sort of freaked me out! There was about 8 feet from my back to the RV and had she wanted to lift anything of mine, or kill me, it would have been so easy and I would not have even noticed it. Just goes to show you how relaxed one can get.
It took a lot of effort to organize and I appreciate it. Due to where I live, I mostly image by myself and I was grateful for the wonderful company. Thanks to SJAA and Rob, Jane sorry again about your loss.
