Another minor point that might help.
We had a sign that said "Welcome. California Star party" or something by the
road. Very inviting... which isn't actually what we want.
If the rangers are OK with it, perhaps next year it should say "Overflow
area reserved for Calstar." With no explanation of what it is. That way
strangers won't be tempted to come have a look.
