Wow... an overwhelming support for Plettstone. I guess a trip out to see
MIchelle is in order!!!

The decision between a 15" and an 18" is tough indeed. While I don't think
I'll be going on the hunt for the ultra far and faint, I would love to have
the ability to, if and when I do. But the weight and size does play a major
role in the decision too. And while I do have a C14, I don't pull that out
very often as it is a very heavy scope. I had purchased it used with
photography in mind and will probably keep it mainly for that. So the 15"
dob will fit nicely.... but now is the chance for me to get into the bigger
scopes, and if I don't do it now, I doubt I will sell off the 15" (if I get
that) and order an 18". ARGH!!!

Hmm... decisions decisions....

But many thanks to the people that have chimed in with their opinions!!!

Vincent

PS... anyone else going to MB this wednesday? Weather sure looks good so
far, but it is going to be chilly... dress warm!
