That's where Rose City is, idnit?
I asked myself this very morning why this looks like Seattle when I
don't want to live in Seattle for this very reason.
Also checked back to last year's logs to compare, rotten as last
winter was for observing. So far since the New Year '06 I've been to
a hilltop 5 times, but have to count that two of those times I didn't
set the scope up and did naked eye and bino fu. One of those trips I
didn't even pack the scope. OK, last year in the same 3 months, got
out 4 times, got to use the scope each time and see new stuff. Looks
to be about a draw so far. This past fall, though, I got to catch
plenty of new galaxies in Eridanus, where in 04-05 Eridanus simply
wasn't there.
So this year gets a slight edge of improvement.
Now back to that paperwork.

Congrats, Peter, on once again raising the bar for silly.
