Hi Bill,
Yes, the great dry winter weather patterns of the 90's were fortunate for us
observers. It helped bring in a lot of new people, I one of them. The past
few winters (since 2001) have all been sub-par with less transparent skies
and more cloudiness. The weather is getting more like the Northwest (Oregon
and Washington) around here.
