Great news, Kevin!

Thanks for the report. Have a safe ride home.

Hotel near Side, Turkey. I was set up with a subset of the group on the beach about 50 feet from the Mediterranean Sea. The
highlight of the eclipse was the Sun's corona, both nekked eye and through 9x63 binoculars. The corona was very pronounced on
both sides of the Sun, and much less so at (I'm assuming) the poles. Venus was easily visible both before and during totality,
but the sky was a little too bright to see any other stars, although a few observers reported seeing Saturn as well. The seeing
was a little too good (unfortunately!) so we didn't see any shadow bands, either. Only some thin cirrus clouds were present
during the eclipse, but in no way interfered at all.

beat!
