IC 443 in Gemini, over toward Taurus.
One night at Dinosaur Point, Jeff Crilly got a bunch of us comparing
views of this rare type of object. With the Veil and M1, this is it
from our latitudes, right?

Notes from 19 January '02 -

SNR! Showed a strip @126x with OIII. Aperture mattered: Bob's 12.5
showed more strip; Jeff's 15 caught the E end with curves and
curdling.

The "Bob" here is Bobby Czerwinski. Remember him? That night Bobby
and Crilly and I ended the night with pie at Casa de Coffee. They
have excellent pie. The ollalieberry pie got into my observing logs,
in writing not in stains. Crilly as I remember had a whole breakfast
plate, scared BC and me.
