IC1795 in [SII], Ha and [OIII]

the good weather has continued out here on the west coast and this weekend I travelled near Lake Tahoe to a friend's home just outside Truckee, California for a night of imaging at 6700 feet. The skies looked pretty good but it was amazing to see how bright the Reno light dome was.

The seeing wss about 2.2 arc-sec on my early evening focus runs and guiding was reasonable. The target was IC1795.

I was unable to image all night due to acute sleep deprivation from another session at home the previous night so I stopped shooting after I had acquired 3 x 20 minutes of Ha, 4 x 20 minutes of [SII] and [OIII] for a total of 3h 40m. I used the AP180EDT with 0.75x reducer and the IMG6303E camera.

The image is grainier than I would like indicating the data is a bit thin. This would look good with about 3 to 4 hours of [SII] and [OIII] and maybe 2 hours of Ha.

Hopefully I can return to this object before the season is out:

this is very near the Heart nebula (IC1805). Last year I shot it in a wider field using the FSQ106 with the IMG6303E camera. That shot can be seen here:
