And ironically I spoke too soon. Here I was this afternoon all proud
of how the talk today on TAC was just about all on the topic of
observing an actual supernova. A needed update on wintering on the
Peak went right along without an uproar. And here Sean (who really
should know better, being a quick chap) starts in on yes the dreaded
GLP's. Only one reply. Nice.

But here I sense a momentum. There were 6 items on this thread when I
opened this post; now there are 7. Yo, James, doesn't this look
really recognizably offtopic to you? I'd just hate to see this
nonsense start up on our watch, so soon and all, wouldn't you?
