Some interesting imaging work is being done with these non-cooled
CMOS-based cameras. Lots of short exposures and stacking - a cooled
camera will usually produce better images. Still some of the examples
on the web are impressive.

Well since this subject came up - If anyone is interested in buying a
used Canon DSLR contact me off list, I have a D30, D60, 10D and 1Ds for
sale.

I always forget if this is an ok post for TAC, if not apologies in
advance ;-)

Thanks,

Glenn

PC, I saw this last week. Full 35mm frame, 16.7 megapixel. Dual digix
processors, dual CF cards. What a honey. but $8K.

The new Canon 20D just arrived too. 8.2 megapixel CMOS with state of
the art low noise sensor, for $1,500. 1.6 crop factor. Out of stock
just about everywhere, but only a 4 week waiting list.

Drooling away.
