The most important characteristic of a finder, other than a wide field of
view, is that it show stars that match your chart or computer program. Any
50 mm erect image finder and SkyAtlas 2000 are an excellent match. You might
need more aperture if you work from a deeper chart. I'd rather have a light
weight finder that matches my needs than a heavy one that does more than
necessary.
