When I was a teen, parking anywhere to watch the sunset meant only one thing
to the adults and friendly police in my communitity.

Yes, it's hard to believe that I and my beau were chased out of several
choice "watch the sunset" spots.

But to be honest, we weren't there to really watch the sunsets ;)

hey all, mimi here
aggrivating as that whole ordeal was, I will be returning to the Peak. I'm
not going to let one particularly grumpy ranger --but not grumpy without
reason-- keep me from visiting one of my favorite places
However next time I'll be in the park well before sunset, and with a
telescope. It'll be nice to show the ranger I'm actually an astronomer,
since he didnt seem to believe us.
 "Oh, astronomers. I see."
No, we're not here for snogging, we're actually looking at the stars,
thanks. :)
