There's a good image of a group, or chain of
clusters Richard Navarrete and I had fun going through - NGC 7790, NGC
7788, Frolov 1, Harvard 21 and King 12 - while at CalStar earlier this
month. We were using 18" Obsessions, but I expect they can be observed
easily in smaller aperture - Sue used a 4.1" refractor. These clusters
are a fun little hop with varied appearances.
I remember one of that group was a tough little bugger. Small with very dim
stars. I guess contrast is everything! I think Sue uses an AP Traveler.
But yeah, Mark is right, that was a group of open clusters I actually enjoyed.
