I use a thin program over HSQLDB (formerly HyperSonic) to log my
observations. I usually just log : Date, Telescope, EPs, notes and a
numerical wow factor. The DB contains the M, NGC, IC, Caldwell and
Deep Map 600 catalogs. I find it handy to just run a query to get a
list of objects that are on some of those lists that will be up
tonight. Print it out and *poof* instant observing list. I'm tempted
to buy skytools 2 because of it's list management features.
