Hi Otis,

There are three other avid astronomers living in Benicia including Darrell
Lee, Renato Del Rosario and myself, Dennis Beckley. Darrell has a SkyQuest
XT10 intelliscope, Renato has a Portaball 12.5, and I have an Obsession 18
and a Takahashi FC100. We go to a variety of dark sites including
Fiddletown, IHOP and Pedlar Hill up in the Sierra foothills, Lake Sonoma,
Mt. Lassen, Chew's ridge south of Carmel, a private site south of Livermore
and occasionally up to Blue Ridge/Mix Canyon west of Vacaville. We'd love
to have you join us for an outing in November or December. My E-mail
address is "dbeckley@ebire.org" and I can provide you other information if
you want to contact me. Another good site with helpful fellow astronomers
in our area is tac-sac@yahoogroups.com.

Dennis Beckley

P.S. I am also an avid sailor but that's another story best told over a
pint of Foster's!
