Hi! My name is Otis
I joined a while ago and have Just been watching all of the activity. I
live in Benicia and I go up to Angwin from time to time with my son and we
have a ball finding stuff.
I'm looking for some TACos in the Benicia, Napa, Vallejo, Fairfield area to
get together with.
I've got an Orion ED80 and I'm learning to attach a Pentax slr(film) camera
to it using a Lumicon guider. I'm having a lot of fun. I read incessantly
everything that I can find. If I don't understand something I find another
source and try to come at it from another direction. Is there anyone up in
my area who'd like to get together and look at the universe? I can't always
get to Angwin, but I am out almost every night to look at anything I can.
I love being out doors. Thirty years ago I was rock climbing(Yosemite).
Then I got into sailing(still a very big passion) and now I'm finally
following my childhood fantasy astronomy.
Look forward to meeting some of you all.

PS for xmas: just a green laser so I can point things out to my wife whose
eyesight is not great.
