Are you baiting me?

Actually things are pretty cool there these days...

We can spend the night on society nights without restriction. We can rent a
campsite and spend the night at the summit any time we'd like. There's a
monthly public astronomy program; and tomorrow we're installing an honest to
goodness semi-permanent observatory at the summit (with no concession
bullshit). The new ranger has a clear policy and is very astronomy
friendly.

It still lacks the ad-hoc access I was alluding to in the previous
ranting... but it has certainly become friendlier than FP.
