Hi Ray,

I have a Celestron 9x63 Ultima (made in Japan), and a Celestron 25x100
SkyMaster (pretty sure made in China).

The optics IMO are better in the Ultimas, but the SkyMasters are just
fine IMO. They do have a fair bit of false color on really bright
objects (7.5 on a 10 point scale) like Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon.
Everything else looks great. The main thing I dislike about them is
each eye focuses separately. I picked them up barely used on
Astromart a while back for $275.

I had them out at MB this past Wednesday on a Universal Astronomics
Unistar Light mount and Oberwek tripod for NEAT viewing. Several
people commented that it was the best view of the comet they had all
evening.

I have a Universal Astronomics Unimount Basic parallelogram mount
coming on Monday to replace the Unistar mount, which I'm hoping will
make the SkyMasters a lot more comfortable to use [BTW is anyone
interested in buying the Unistar Light :) ].

Feel free to stop by and look them over if we meet somewhere!

-Lance
