Greetings,
I searched the archives for some concrete information on where EXACTLY one might observe near the Panoche Pass and found more questions than answers. So I decided to take a drive this afternoon from Hollister across to I-5 along Panoche Rd. looking for candidate sites.
In summary, I found three pretty good candidates along Little Panoche Rd., and I posted my detailed findings on the following web page:

I would be very interested in some feedback. In particular, has anyone actually observed from any of these sites? How good/accessible/dark are they? Anyway, hope this is helpful and/or thought provoking.
