Hi Michael,
I hear you. I'd pass if it came to my having to fork over the dough
personally. Or at least limit myself to Canada, Alaska, or the East Coast.
As it stands I'll be jamming over and back- don't want to miss the SSP!
Greece will hold for another year or so.
We'll be working with plenty of folks for webcasts and I assume televised
coverage of the transit. I'm pretty stoked about the whole thing after
having to pass on the Antarctica and the transit of Mercury last year. But
I'm really looking forward to spending my 37th birthday on the tarmac up at
Shingletown. Good friends, good times, and hopefully great skies!
Bill

Hi Bill,
You know I really want to go. I would really like nothing better than to
set my Coronado SolarMAX90 at the sun and watch our sister planet pass by.
But the truth is I would have to take my wife and children with me and I
just don't have the extra 3000 for airfare right now. I'd rather spend a
few less stones on a nice trip to Shingletown this time around.
But hey, if you folks have an extra seat or two I'll be happy to schlep
along my gear!
