Hi, All:

No, there's nothing wrong with these 'scopes! I'm just not using these
two particular items very much these days, preferring just to observe
with my Newt/Dobs instead. Before putting these up on Astromart, I'll
first offer them at lower prices for you TACos.

If you're interested in either of these, please reply *PRIVATELY*:

1. Meade 12" LX200 Classic:

Meade 12" LX200 f/10 "Classic" (non-GPS) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope,
S/N 121638. Purchased new Dec. '98, first-light Jan. '99. This 'scope
has received a lot of use; I've had a great time with it. Sent in for a
Meade Instruments factory-checkup Jan. 2003. The cover has some
scratches, as does the mount base (all due to a windy night at Henry
Coe), but overall this machine is in excellent shape, to include the
optics. Normal field wear & tear / transport marks/scratches on the
tripod. Includes standard accessory package (25-ft power cord and
115VAC to 18VDC adapter, 8x50mm viewfinder, 2" diagonal mirror w/ 1.25"
adapter, 26mm Super Plossl eyepiece and giant field tripod).

Also included:

Meade #1812 12VDC to 18VDC converter
Orion SCT SkyGlow Filter (rear-cell mount)
Orion SCT SkyGlow UltraBlock Filter (rear-cell mount)
Telrad (base already mounted on the OTA)
Orion FlexiSHIELD Dew Shield
Kendrick Dew Remover - Model VI
Kendrick 12" Heater
Kendrick 12" Kwik Focus w/ Kendrick 82mm Solar Filter (The filter is
still separate from the Kwik Focus assembly)
Orion 2" ER 32mm Multi-Coated eyepiece
Orion 2" PL 50mm Multi-Coated eyepiece

I have the original packing material for the OTA, but nothing for the
tripod.

$1800.00

FYI, I've generally used my Pentax XL eyepieces with this 'scope.

2. Tele Vue TV101/Gibraltar Mount:

Tele Vue-101 classic 4-element APO refractor, 540mm F.L., f/5.4, S/N
1632. Purchased new Aug. '00. Includes hard shell case, screw-on lens
cover, sliding dew shield, 2" Everbrite Diagonal w/ 1-1/4" to 2"
adapter, Gibraltar Ring Mount and a Starbeam reflex sight (w/o flip
mirror). I've babied this TV101; it looks virtually brand new. The
Gibraltar (Ash) mount is equipped with Sky Tour encoders, and the Sky
Tour itself (computer, cables and documentation) IS INCLUDED with the
system. (I've never used the Sky Tour myself, so you're on your own!)
Also included is both an Eyepiece Caddy and a Sky Tour Caddy Plate for
the Gibraltar Mount, and an Orion Solar Filter (glass). I'm also
tossing in a Tele Vue 1-1/4" 5X Powermate.

$2000.00

FYI, I've only used Naglers and Radians with this 'scope.

Again, if you're interested in either item, please reply privately.

Thanks,

...Bob...
