There was a brief clearing of clouds at about 6:30 here in Cupertino, so I
fired up the observatory, reset the RA clock on my G-11, turned on the radio,
poured a glass of wine and picked out the next double star target in my list.
I logged 12 Lyncis in my notebook after finding it right away. Seeing was
not too bad.
Went back to my notebook for the next target, back to the scope, and by then
the clouds had cometh. Took a quick look at Venus and Saturn through the
muck, rolled the roof back onto Casa Estrella, spilling my wine in the process,
and here I am, filing a report for you fine folks.
Looks like we're in for several days of muck. Rats.
