I tend to agree, Michelle, but I worry that if we agree on a set of
star party etiquette that's too loose, we risk losing the attendance
of some of our best and brightest. It's good to be a *little*
serious about this stuff, maybe...
It might be better to agree on a fair set of common sense & courtesy
ground rules which accomodates a wide range of observerving tastes.
And then (using NASA jargon) "utilize situational awareness" to
determine if it's ok to light up the tiki torches, and to break
out the vintage Art Bell recordings, etc. :)
