I've found that if I'm doing something really serious, I too find a quiet
place to do it by myself. It's been really nice when Richard has visited my
place to do serious imaging work.
The big star parties are as much a social event as anything else. It's a
blast to get to know other like minded people, look at other cool equipment,
and get away from it all.
I always get a kick when someone yells at someone else for breaking some
rule of etiquette. I just think to myself, hey relax, have some fun, and
don't be so serious.
