    I like my uncovered

but I am really just not willing to be restricted and or restrained when I
invest that much time, money and energy going remote. I'd prefer to find a
more remote location where I can run a generator all night, have my
uncovered laptop screen and be able to play Mozart, Hendrix or Willie Nelson
at 100dB if I so choose.
Well that's the way the a lot of us feel, except we resent when we invest so
much time, energy and money going remote and someone comes along with white
lights, generators and loud music. I do both observing and imaging, and I want
it dark and quiet for either activity. At least you 'get it' and understand
that the large star parties do not fit into the way you'd like to spend your
time under the stars. We have the 'GD rules,' as you put it, so that everyone
understands what's expected and then we don't have any 'GD' fights. ;-)
