Hi all,
Dennis Steele introduced me to someone he knows at the VA Medical who is
involved in a family day picnic event they are having in Livermore tomorrow
(8/28). They invited me to set up my solar viewing equipment and do a
little solar exhibit for the families.
I know this is last minute but I just got the time and address info so I am
passing it on to the group in case anyone would like to join me. I think it
would be nice to have a few scopes there.
Following is the time/date/location info. I'll be there around 9:30am or so
to stake out a space and set up. Anyone interested in joining me just
follow the directions below and give me a call when you arrive and I'll help
you find me.
Regarding the sf-bay-solar group; it was deleted as the result of
inactivity. It no longer exists.

VA Medical family day picnic
It starts at 11:00am and will go until about 2:00pm. People will
start arriving about 10:00am. Parking is scarce on that day so you may want
to get here early. Also, FYI, it is suppose to be in the mid 90's that day,
dress cool!

and it turns into Arroyo Rd.
The VA will be on your right

Turn onto Vallecitos Rd. heading East
Vallecitos turns into Holmes St.
Turn left onto Wetmore Rd.
Turn right onto Arroyo Rd.
The Livermore VA will be on your right
