Hey yeah! And you could take pictures of other stuff too, your house, your cat, all without a flashbulb! There *is* a use for daytime!
 
But you know what I mean. That time lapse movie that Jeff posted a link to the other day showed an interesting thing right at the end - even after the sun was well up and the sky was bright blue, the camera was still picking out numerous stars.
 
It might not, in the beginning, make for pictures as pleasing as yours, but for things like the extra-solar planet discoverers &c it would double the data.... or is the reflection of sunlight off particles in the atmosphere just too much to penetrate?
