Soooo.... I propose that we could make all of this objective by coming up
with some set of formal site measurement procedures.
We could take exposures of the horizons and zenith and a number of
double/multiple stars of various separations on the same nights and using
the same or very similar equipment and settings.
This could be repeated a number of times at various times throughout the
year to try to weed out statistical anomolies.
These images and information could be posted on the TAC detailed
information pages for the sites listed under:
http://observers.org/sites/
I don't really anticipate much variation in seeing from one site to
another, but you never know. I think it would be neat to get a feel for
the light pollution in those areas though.
Sound plausible?
Thanks.
