It was actually just before 8, I was walking to a meeting at a church just
down the street from me in South San Jose. I was looking up to check the
clarity and watch as the stars were appearing. I noticed a bright streak of
light directly over head moving slower than I've ever seen a meteorite move.
I said "Oh My God!...Oh My God......Oh My God" (approximately 10 seconds)
and the ball of fire was finally disappearing low on the western horizon.
It didn't have a long tail at any point, maybe because it was going so
slowly. It was very bright and seemed to fall with an elegant gracefulness.
By far the best shooter I've ever seen in my entire life.
