Debbie is a true gem. She's been observing with large dobsonians for
quite a while. She had one of the first large Starsplitters. She's
one of the two ladies in the Obsession videoshowing how easy it is to
assemble. She is a wonderful person to observe with and to talk with
during the day! We used her 20 inch at CalStar. Debbie's a gem...
Hmmm, Guess I said that already. But it's worth repeating.
BTW: So is Michelle Stone. She'd bend over backwards to be hospitable
at her dark sky home and she's quite a craftsman as shown in her
Plettstone Telescopes. And you be hard pressed to find a friendlier
or more enthusiastic amateur than Stacy. And ya gotta hand it to Jane
Houston Jones, she's an extraordinary amateur astronomer. Woman or
no, it does not matter. She is extraordinary. And Barabra Toy is the
president of the Orange County Astronomers, AFAIK the largest
astronomy club in the US with over 600 members. And Jean Mueller at
Palomar needs no introduction! We are bless to have such amazing
amateurs in California regardless of their gender!
Best wishes,
Jeff
