Wow, great shot, Mark. I didn't realize you had taken up CCD imaging.
Which CCD camera are you using? You sure got up to speed quickly, good
work. The post-processing is outstanding. Great s/n ratio and resolution.
The high-pass filtering is really smooth, none of that roughness that
sometimes shows up when you over-process. Did you use a Gaussian blur? Or
was it a Maximum-Entropy algorithm?
All kidding aside, it's cool to see your sketch of Mars. Again, I'm
inspired to do the same... if the clouds depart...
